On Wednesday evening I went wakeboarding on the Rideau River with the crew. My friend Mallory came out a took a few photos while I rode around with a GoPro camera on my head. Sure, I look kinda goofy with a camera strapped to my head but who cares, the footage looks good. Here is one of the photos from the night. To see more photos from the night make sure to check out Mallory’s blog.
On Wednesday Charlie and I decided to have a wakeboarding / filming day. We left Ottawa at 9:00am and arrived at Wow Plaza shortly after 11:00am. We each took a warm up set on the system 2.0 then headed to the boat lake.
Charlie did this bad-ass backside 180 nose press on the flat rail.
I ended up having a pretty good set on the boat lake as well then decided to head back over to the system 2.0 for another pull. I had a super fun set that included this goofy nuclear back lip.
By 2:00pm we had packed up and started our trip back to Ottawa. We got to the Rideau River shortly after 4:00pm and began to load up the Malibu. We each took a set then decided to have a dance party on the boat.
Once the dancing was complete we busted out my GoPro camera and rode doubles. Here is a picture of Dom launching over me.
By 9:00pm it was starting to get dark so we packed up and headed back to my house for some beers. We even watched some of the footage from the day.
Last week Charlie gave me a USB stick filled with video clips from his recent trip to the Philippines. After four weeks of riding and filming Charlie came back with some good footage including these funny crashes that I have decided to share with everyone.
One year after its release LEGIT is now available to watch online. Check it out!

Sure compare to wakeboarding, tubing is a little lame, but having fun on the water with friends is NOT. The guys at Liquid Force show what it’s all about
Last week I headed down to Florida and got a few days of riding in. As soon as I landed, I headed over to The Orlando Watersports Complex for a few hours of shredding. The next day I drove towards Tampa and stopped at McCormicks Cable Park for the afternoon. The park there is super fun, they have a nice variety of rails and kickers. I put on my helmet cam for a few laps, check it out.
After McCormicks I needed a few days to let me body recover so I hit up a bunch of the many tourists attractions in and around Orlando. Once my hands healed I then headed to The Projects Park for a set in the rail lake.
After that I headed up to Atlanta for my buddy’s wedding.
